Tse alnaozti段 (Sanostee) Chapter

The chapter is found in the Northern Navajo Agency of the Navajo Nation at the base of the eastern side of the Chuska Mountains and the western portion of the San Juan Basin. The Navajo Name of the chapter is Tse alnaozti段, which means Crisscrossing rocks.

The Tse alnaozti段 Chapter conducts meetings monthly to keep residents informed; residents have a forum to express their opinions to their Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to decide on matters concerning their chapter.

Above is a picture of Snake Bridge. Snake Bridge was first documented in 1988 by Jay Wilbur. It is located in Sanostee Wash west of Sanostee, New Mexico. Unfortunately, the bridge is closed to public access. The span of Snake bridge was measured by Wilbur at 204 feet, and the opening is 61 feet high.
