Tsé ałnáozt'ı'í (Sanostee) Chapter

The chapter is found in the Northern Navajo Agency of the Navajo Nation at the base of the eastern side of the Chuska Mountains and the western portion of the San Juan Basin. The Navajo Name of the chapter is Tsé ałnáozt'ı'í, which means Crisscrossing rocks.

The Tsé ałnáozt'ı'í Chapter conducts meetings monthly to keep residents informed; residents have a forum to express their opinions to their Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to decide on matters concerning their chapter.

Above is a picture of Snake Bridge. Snake Bridge was first documented in 1988 by Jay Wilbur. It is located in Tsé ałnáozt'ı'í Wash west of Tsé ałnáozt'ı'í , New Mexico. Unfortunately, the bridge is closed to public access. The span of Snake bridge was measured by Wilbur at 204 feet, and the opening is 61 feet high.
